Terms & Conditions

1. General

By booking a tour with Tromso Travel, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms form the basis of the agreement between you (the customer) and Tromso Travel (the operator). Please read them carefully before making a booking.

2. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or deposit (as specified at the time of booking). You will receive a booking confirmation by email. It is your responsibility to ensure the details in the confirmation are correct.

3. Pricing

All prices are quoted in Norwegian Krone (NOK) unless otherwise stated. Prices include all items listed as "included" on the relevant tour page. Prices are subject to change prior to booking confirmation. Once confirmed, the price is fixed.

4. Cancellation by Customer

If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following cancellation policy applies: • At least 24 hours before the tour: Full refund • Less than 24 hours before the tour: No refund Cancellations must be made in writing to contact@tromsotravel.no.

5. Cancellation by Tromso Travel

Tromso Travel reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to severe weather conditions, insufficient bookings, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or a rebooking on an alternative date.

6. Health, Safety & Responsibility

Participation in our tours involves outdoor activity in Arctic conditions. You participate at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically capable of participating and appropriately dressed for the weather. Tromso Travel is not responsible for injuries, illness, loss, or damage arising from your participation in our tours.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend all customers take out comprehensive travel insurance prior to their visit to Tromsø. This should cover cancellation, medical expenses, and personal accident.

8. Photography & Media

Photos and videos taken during tours may be used by Tromso Travel for promotional purposes unless you specifically request otherwise in writing at the time of booking.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
